The movie Chamkila did not reveal who sent the two threatening letters to Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot.

In reality, those letters came from the Bhindranwale Tiger Force (BTF) and the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF). The film only shows them as anonymous “threatening letters” and avoids naming the actual groups. Real witnesses, including songwriter Swaran Sivia, have clearly stated this.

This selective storytelling raises a question: Why do some films openly name the Indian state, police, or Hindu groups, but stay vague or completely silent when it involves Khalistani extremists?
