While it’s commendable that we are building world-class airports ( it’s another matter that most airports are being given to a certain enterprise & Chennai is still struggling with a legacy airport/debating about a new one) to boost tourism, we need to get the entire chain right. 1. Ease of getting a visa to India 2. Quality airlines with fair ticket prices. 3. Easy & hassle-free immigration & customs experience. 4. Comfortable & safe drive from the airport. 5. Quality hotels to fit all budgets. 6. Clean & hygienic public areas & conveniences. 7. Tourist friendly behaviour. To achieve our true tourism potential all these have to fall into place.

த வெ க உடன் கூட்டணி அமையாமல் தடுத்து விட்டோம் என்று பழி சொல்லும் தற்குறிகளே....
கூட்டணி ஆட்சி வேண்டும் என்று முழங்கிய காரணத்திற்காக ஒழுங்கு நடவடிக்கை வரை கொண்டு சென்று திமுகவை எதிர்த்து பேசி விட்டார் என்று புகார் அளித்தீர்களே, இந்த கூட்டணி ஆட்சிக்கு வித்திட்டவரே இவர்தான்... அன்று திமுகவிடம் அடிமையாக இருந்த தலைவர்களே இன்று ஆர்ப்பரித்து பேசுவதில் அர்த்தமில்லை... கூட்டணிக்குள் இருக்கும் பொழுதே திமுகவை கடுமையாக விமர்சித்த ஒரே காரணத்தினால் திமுக செய்த டெல்லி லாபியால் வரவேண்டிய பொறுப்புக்களுக்கு தடுக்கப்பட்ட தலைவன் அதற்கு உடன் இருந்த சில டெல்லி புரோக்கர்களும் காரணம்... மீண்டும் சொல்கின்றோம் காலம் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் காத்திருந்து பதில் சொல்லும்...
