@Rupachandra4143 @sanjeevsanyal No she doesn't. She's called, 'Jagat Janani'. In tantrik traditions only nonveg is allowed not in satvik vedic traditions. It's based on the notion that she's worshiped by both demons and humans, and she accepts worship of all.

@sanjeevsanyal Can you give reference of ancient shastra in which it's written about eating meat as an important part of culture? Even shakt, vaishnav, shaiv are not ancient Hindu sects. These were formed on choices. All Hindu gods and deities are same and no one promots violence.
