It isn't as if a war between India and Pakistan is unprecedented, or cricket hasn't survived them so far.

Cricket is much more threatened by the triumvirate seeking to capture the entire surplus generated by the sport, than any conflict between these two.

Take health care. The performance targets should be speed to care and quality of outcomes. Equating performance with cost would be missing the point entirely.
