It is based on a riddle to highlight incompatibility. If a bird and fish mate, where would they live? If they choose water, the bird will drown. If they choose air, the fish will die because it needs water.
The Polygamist (2026)
“ngelosi” from our 3rd album, “nomthandazo” is featured on @netflixsa’s, “The Polygamist” Season 1: Episode 6 (2026) based on author, @suenyathi’s novel with the same name (2012).
The reaction people are having to the series is the drama I went through reading the book, but also that's Sue Nyathi.
Everytime I picked up a new book by her, I knew I'm about to go on an emotional roller coaster.
I'm 💯 behind African women writers. Buy them!!!

I’ve seen some tweets comparing Lindiwe Dlamini and Joyce Gomora, and I disagree with all of them. 🫵🏽
Lindiwe Dlamini was also a Bekezela Queen and accepted Zweli Dikana’s cheating ways. At one point, she even settled for polygamy to make him happy.
She never really dealt with her husband; instead, she went after the women he was involved with.
This just goes to show that even powerful and wealthy women can tolerate their husbands’ cheating.
Maaan, I can’t imagine what it must feel to be @SueNyathi right. To have what feels like the whole world talking and loving something you created.
Massive congratulations & well deserved too!
The reaction to #ThePolygamist shows why we need to INVEST in our arts
When was the last time a converation went through all social media spaces with so much conversation & passion?

Taba ya Jonasi is bringing so much discourse onto my TL during the World Cup. A World Cup I waited 4 years for, getting outshined by skheberesh sa monna.

Taking place June 16, 2026.
While we are still seized by the spirit of the age, it is important to highlight what collaboration among Africans can do. South African actors, Nigerian director, Zimbabwean author. Imagine if we scale this up in every field, incl Education, Industry and Science and Technology.
