Dear Honourable Minister,
I do not know whether Adire will ultimately be adopted for the NYSC uniform, but I do know this:
I am a talented Adire designer, and I would be honoured to contribute to the production process should the initiative become a reality.
I am also the founder of a legally registered Limited Liability Company with the capacity to execute contracts professionally and at scale.
Beyond producing premium handmade Adire, my company has the expertise to deliver professionally tailored uniforms, contributing across the entire value chain from sourcing locally produced textiles (including those from Funtua Textile Mills), to Adire production, garment construction, and quality finishing.
This is more than a uniform project. It is an opportunity to showcase Nigerian creativity, strengthen local manufacturing, support indigenous businesses, and create sustainable jobs across the textile and fashion value chain.
If the goal is to promote Made-in-Nigeria solutions, I would be proud to contribute my skills, experience, and the capacity of my company to that vision.
Thank you for considering indigenous businesses and the incredible talent we have within our borders.
