On International Day of Yoga 2026, AIIMS New Delhi united healthcare professionals, researchers, students, and staff in a landmark mass yoga demonstration led by the Centre for Integrative Medicine and Research (CIMR). Over 4,000 participants joined at AIIMS, New Delhi, under the gracious presence of Director Prof. Nikhil Tandon, and inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision, the event embraced this year's theme — *"Yoga for Healthy Ageing."* Simultaneously, over 400 participants joined in at NCI, Jhajjar, reinforcing a collective commitment to holistic well-being.

The 12th International Day of Yoga was celebrated by AIIMS Delhi, where Center for integrative medicine and research conducted a mass yoga demonstration led by the presence of Prof. Nikhil Tandon, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi, attended by faculty, senior administration staff, Researchers and students. Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who addressed the enthusiastic participants of over 4,000 people, the event highlighted yoga as a global movement for wellness and healthy ageing.
