WATCH: The illegal structure that was built by foreign nationals right in the CBD of Johannesburg and defied a court order to stop trading.
The City of Joburg demolished it today.
🎥 Mayor Dada Morero
Yesterday a South African patriot was abducted against his will after he demanded that a Pakistani shut down his shop. An arrogant Pakistani standing nearby called in local thugs, who then kidnapped the brave patriot. We need every detail on this incident immediately and hope a case has already been opened with @SAPoliceService so we can go to the area and make sure that shop is permanently closed, and ensure these dangerous Pakistanis are thrown out. This is within the constraints of the LAW and no patriot should harassed, assaulted or abducted for merely telling a foreigner to leave this country.

ActionSA Slams Gauteng Health for Spending Over R612 Million on Foreign Medical Staff While Thousands of South African Doctors Remain Jobless
ActionSA has criticised the Gauteng Department of Health after a written reply by Gauteng Health and Wellness MEC Faith Mazibuko revealed the department has budgeted R612,719,892 for the salaries of foreign national healthcare professionals during the 2026/2027 financial year. The party says the spending comes while hundreds of qualified South African doctors and nurses remain unemployed despite ongoing staff shortages.
According to ActionSA Gauteng Health and Wellness spokesperson Emma More MPL, the department currently employs 551 foreign nationals, including 170 permanent and 186 temporary employees. Of those, 545 work in medical positions such as specialists, doctors, nurses and clinical technicians, while six occupy administrative support roles. The department also allocated R617,622,852 in 2025/2026 and R616,309,957 in 2024/2025 for foreign employees' compensation.
More said the spending contradicts claims that budget constraints prevent the employment of local healthcare professionals. She cited South African Medical Association Trade Union data indicating that about 1,480 of nearly 1,900 doctors who completed community service at the end of last year remained unemployed in early 2026. She argued that taxpayers fund medical training, yet many graduates are not absorbed into the public healthcare system.
ActionSA said it will request a phased plan showing how permanent positions occupied by foreign nationals will be prioritised for qualified South African doctors and nurses as contracts expire. The party also plans to seek an audit of all 551 foreign employee files through the Portfolio Committee and engage the Gauteng Provincial Treasury to review the R612 million compensation allocation and fund more local medical officer posts.
@SABCNews your misleading I just tuned it to sabc news all media broadcast are broadcasting madlanga commission. So clearly the matter brought to high court by president recieve no attention @eNCA
This will be our office for the next two days. The President of the country is in court wanting to stop Parliament from holding him accountable and investigating his possible breaches to the Constitution. He is citing reputational damage and public humiliation if the process continues.
We are arguing against that. Firstly, courts can’t stop Parliament from doing its work. Secondly, the courts can’t view the perceived reputational damage of the President as something that supersedes the Constitutional obligation of Parliament to hold the Executive accountable.
@ZungulaVuyo proud of you leadership. When you came to parliament you were seen as one of those who will be adding just numbers to parliament. Your presence is seen and felt. Abahambe 🙏🙏🙏
Oom Dr Pieter Groenewald is shaming the ANC racist veterans, he is proving to the masses that it’s not about the colour of your skin. But how dignified you are.
The likes of Panyaza, Lamola, Fikile and Malema they have channeled their political power into classifying Afrikaners as racists, while shielding themselves from being held accountable for the worst crimes they have committed in this Country.
Dear Justice Madlanga,
Most South Africans have a deep sense of justice. From our dark, brutal past, we know the experience of unfairness & injustice.
Thank you and your colleagues at the Commission for restoring our faith in the possibility of justice & fairness.
Best wishes!
