@bbcintroducing It wasn’t directed at me, but I once heard a musician say that if you aren’t embarrassed about your early songs then you’re doing it wrong. For me now, that’s such terrible advice to give young musicians. We should never be ashamed of our work if we’ve given 100% to it.
