One of the biggest problems with using LLMs as a google replacement for programming, is that getting zero relevant results on google used to be a signal that you had the wrong idea about the root cause. Whereas LLMs will happily indulge any terrible idea you suggest.
The more I build agentic systems at Razorpay, the more I understand that - at its core, it is an agentic loop with tool calls, integrations, and retrieval. The hard part is...
actually making it run reliably, at scale, under real production load. And this is what makes system design even more important.
Your AI system is still expected to scale. It will still need microservices, message queues, consistency guarantees, load balancing, work distribution, state management, rate limiting, throttling, fallbacks, service-to-service communication, QoS, etc.
It is great that you are looking into AI and are interested. You should be. Everyone should be. But it is important not to skip system design and cs fundamentals. I know it seems overwhelming, but it is what it is.
First principles are not going anywhere, and that is super essential for actually building applied AI systems and running them reliably at scale. If you are a backend engineer and are kind of skipping these things, pause and reflect once.
It is always good to be great at system design, not because it will help you crack interviews (it will), but because it will make you meaningfully better at your job. Seeing it firsthand.
Remember, you will not be shipping prototypes to production. The difference between prototype and production code is 15 components and 1000 commits.
This is what happens when you fear political awareness beyond your comfort zone. The DMK directly and indirectly opposed class consciousness, had no issue with caste-based vote consolidation, even went on to ally with rss guys, expecting supporters to defend that. Backfired now!
India has a strange blind spot when it comes to eggs. For starters, we have, against all common sense, declared it non-veg, which automatically comes attached with moral baggage, and then on top of that, even in families that eat meat, the idiotic idea that eggs are “heating” (taseer) reduces its daily/weekly consumption.
A MAN’s desire to become a FATHER is always paid by a WOMAN with her body, health, career and freedom.
But a woman's desire to live in comfort is still considered materialistic for some reason.
Asking kids to bug their parents to vote even as a joke isn’t cool. CHILDREN ARE NOT POLITICAL TOOLS. Voting should be a free choice not something pushed through pressure at home.
Leaders should set better examples. Let children be children.
Was walking back home from the gym and my local stand auto guy insisted he gives me a drop back since he is also headed in that direction. There was no way for me to explain to him about step count target, so I just got in.
I am the only person in my family that can torrent. My parents couldn't and my children don't have to. All this knowledge will die with me. Like tears in rain.
Arranged marriage is a safety net for the socially stunted and a bailout for men who never bothered to develop a personality. Without it, half of Indian men would be single forever.
I have dozens of friends who are just waiting for a "wife delivery" from their parents because they can’t hold a sane conversation with a woman. They have no idea how to flirt, how to impress, how to respect, or even how to make a girl smile and keep her happy.
They have no clue how a relationship works; some of the things they say are mind-blowing in the worst way and better left unsaid online. Worse, they harbor so much hatred for guys with girlfriends and shame girls for dating, simply because they lack the basic social intelligence to get into a relationship themselves.
TVK's mismanagement and need for the crowd ,DMK's administrative negligence and political apathy has led to the Karur disaster.
This is my final word.
Vijay has to level up and change his political leadership/organization skills . DMK has to be less vile and conniving.
Though both are accountable for the deaths, DMK has more responsibility as ruling government with power at hand to stop the disaster which they would have forecasted but they did not stop . They let it happen .
This is a war on the common man and people have to put their safety before their political ideologies and fanaticism. This applies to both the TVK people who attended the event with kids and DMK people who are whitewashing the government's role in this situation.
Also @TVKVijayHQ has to give more than 20 lakhs to the affected families as they have lost their breadwinners.
He has the power to do that.
DMK cannot sit and watch disasters to happen ,then demand for a ban on political opposition. It's not democracy. It's not fair .
It's been more than 5 days . It's time we learn lessons from this and prevent such things in the future,as a community despite our political differences.
Tamilnadu politics can do better.
