I don’t know how to explain to Africans, especially Nigerians, that colonial borders divided several groups with similar languages, cultures, traditions, and attire into different countries. This is why history is important—most people now feel entitled without knowing they have kinsmen in other countries separated by those borders.
The way British people love to travel to Tenerife, Marbella, South of France, Venice, etc is what I wish for Africans.
No reason travelling to Dakar, Abidjan, Lome, Accra, Yaounde, etc shouldn't be a normal part of West African life.
