But true mastery of self is not found in self-reliance. It is found in surrender.

Knowing yourself may reveal who you are, but surrendering yourself to God reveals who you were created to become.

Mastery of Self-Awareness

Self-awareness is not just knowing who you are. It is having the courage to confront why you think, feel, react, and behave the way you do.

The deeper you understand yourself, the less controlled you become by your impulses.
