@Adrian_Hilton A religious individual has never needed a church or church figures to be religious as much as the worshipped never asked to be worshipped. Religion is much much simpler than tradition. ❤️
@Paddystinian ”A land without a people for a people without a land.” It actually predates political Zionism. The earliest documented use is generally traced to Alexander Keith, a Scottish Christian clergyman, in the 1840s. It was then used by Christian restorationists and later by Zionists.
@MatttDavey I saw this touted some years ago Matt, at the time it was said the targets would be Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, The Bank of England and the reserve Bank of England in Liverpool.
@ArchRose90 Justin Welby resigned as the Archbishop of Canterbury following the release of the Makin Report, an independent review that revealed he failed to properly report horrific physical and sexual abuse by John Smyth, a prolific serial abuser linked to Christian summer camps.
@MatttDavey It also fits the broader Christian theme of discernment: something extraordinarily powerful can be used for good while simultaneously becoming an instrument of domination. I do think current AI is the beginning sadly.
@MatttDavey If Revelation is warning about a system rather than merely an individual, what happens when humanity creates a technology capable of concentrating knowledge, persuasion, surveillance and decision-making on an unprecedented scale? 1/2
@FirstFlightCapt It’ll be fans season tickets next. Clubs are now ran for profit, only profit. Multi million pound firms will get season tickets first, they want revolving fans who spend in the merchandise department, the bars, the restaurant etc.
@StirlingCouncil@GoForthStirling@BBCScotlandNews@StirlingAWS@StirUni I was in Stirling last weekend and have absolutely fallen in love with the place! I’m coming back for more exploring soon and hope to go up the Wallace monument. I saw advertisements for this show but sadly work called me back. My new favourite happy place! ❤️
@IanMcNeill9 I’m in England and don’t fear being independent at all, it would be difficult, but probably achievable. I imagine Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland now know London’s skint, hence why this was entirely expected. All nations should decide their own futures.
