A 28F with 2-year chronic knee monoarthritis received multiple intra-articular steroids without diagnosis.
Presented with fever ,dyspnea ,altered sensorium ,fulminant septic shock and died within 24h.
What went wrong?
Another incident of attack on junior doctor while on duty. He was performing CPR, at GMERS medical college, Junagadh, Gujarat.
How long until doctors get protection? Why would any doctor want to save patients' life, when his/her own life is in danger?
A long way to go.
"Central Protection Act" is the demand!!
A strong act will be a deterrent and will hopefully decrease the chances of violence against doctors.
No one dares indulge in violence against politicians, judiciary, bureaucracy and police because they know the consequences.
Like these professionals, medical doctors who deal with people daily should get a protective shield as well.
And this should happen ASAP.
Put the perpetrators of the heinous crime behind bars and implement the Central Protection Act

I request every non-medico to spare 3 minutes and 30 seconds to listen @KishoreAjwani
This is the harsh truth about resident doctors which no one would tell you.
This is what every resident doctor go through during their 3 years of residency.

NBEMS playing mind games just before the Exams & taking #NEETPG Aspirants for granted!
Test Centres allocated are 100s of KMs away!
4th option is the 1st option for them!
Multiple shifts were made to accommodate students in nearby Center, not to throw them far away! 🤡
#NEETPG centre allocation process is a mess! Students are being assigned exam centre’s thousands of kms away. With heavy rains across states, arranging last-minute transportation is nearly impossible. NBE is finding new ways to stress medical students each year! #MedTwitter
Dear NBE officials,
Rather than studying, you want students to spend time booking a train/flight ticket just ten days before the exam.
Then, they are supposed to take a long journey (of days for those travelling by bus/train),
find a hotel for themselves,
and locate the center.
All this while they are under the stress of revising the course right before one of the most important exams of their lives.
Ridiculous is an understatement.

I used to think I didn't have a Gujarati accent in my Hindi until a patient's attendant asked me "Sir aap Gujarat se ho?" And I'm like how do you know 😶😶
