Another historic chapter in Atmanirbhar Bharat in the defense sector
The first Made-in-India C-295 military transport aircraft will be delivered to the Indian Air Force in September 2026, rolling out from the Vadodara assembly line.
A Classic Double Standard.
As per Maharashtra RTI Rules 2026, citizens seeking information cannot take the assistance of a lawyer before the State Information Commission.
But government departments can send lawyers to defend the denial of information.
One side is left unarmed, while the other is given full legal armour.
This is not justice. It is a system designed to weaken and undermine the Right to Information.

@MahuaMoitra@rajnathsingh@FinMinIndia This decision brings huge relief to our brave soldiers. Their pension must always remain free from the burden of taxation. A necessary step to honor their selfless service.

Thank you @rajnathsingh ji for your empathy for continuing IT exemptions for armed forces disability pensions. Hoping mandarins of @FinMinIndia have similar empathy & desist from ever initiating this offensive proposal. Jai Hind.
Thanks to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Hon'ble Rajnath Singh Ji. Since the issue of tax exemption on disability pension for soldiers comes under the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the Government has kept the entire pension tax-free pending the notification. To secure this right of our soldiers forever, raise this issue with full strength before the Ministry of Finance going forward. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
@aajtak@anjanaomkashyap Please also highlight how inspite of Army coming to help in every crisis, how they have been so badly treated by denying NFU,parity, and status and career degradation.
Pl help them get NFU
This is the state of affairs. They are unable to make the security of a simple Pensioners related website foolproof and they talk about ensuring that there is no leakage of the Specialised Unit locations. Sad...... https://t.co/ntorWMYF8U
@PMOIndia@DefenceMinIndia 1/2. Pension JCO/OR. Vide GoI Policy Letter dt 17 Jan 13, Pension were to be calculated at notional max of rk & Gp across three services (Army/AF/Navy). However, GoI letter dt 7th Nov 15 (OROP), Pension reduced to average of max & min of the yr.
Professional competence was clearly evident during the interview, well done @AnkitGuptaBJYM. The vision of NFFU for the Defence Forces will become a reality one day. Excellent job, Col @Warrior_Mukul.

Ladies and gentlemen, and specifically my brethren in uniform, spare just 6 minutes and 27 seconds to understand from Col Mukul how NFU, which the armed forces deserve the most, is being denied without reason to the officers of armed forces. Eleven years and a joke played by the government and judiciary, along with the senior hierarchy of the armed forces. Just look at the permanent commission and promotion of women short service officers- the judiciary is so proactive. The judiciary wanted to appear as a crusader for women's rights, so the judgements came quickly. I am not saying the cause was wrong; the women officer had merit in the case . However, why does the judiciary behave completely differently when it comes to male officers, whether in cases of SHORT SERVICE officers or NFU to others? It is simply because male officers are seen as rivals. Imagine a force respected and loved by the people and also treated honourably in pay and perks- that would be a massive power block. Nobody is ready to accept that. This matter will go to the 8th pay commission. Things have already been settled back https://t.co/Sm0fITtQKG judgement will come, and the officers will still be standing with a begging bowl, praying for their rightful emoluments. My view on the matter is- and remember, I am a fifth-generation member of this great Indian army- stop pleading and be straightforward and assertive in your demands. Time will show you the way to victory.
Our soldiers have to fight a battle with their own government for their rightful dues, it’s strange , real strange
Just because our serving soldiers cant have any association so they don’t have a voice
Can we the citizens of this great nation help our soldiers raising their voice
Let us raise our voice louder
Let us be their voice
Jai Hind 🇮🇳
