Been thinking about the GP crisis where in some areas the number of GPs has fallen by almost 10%!!

1. Increased workload from secondary care even prior to the pandemic
2.Pension and tax changes that make it financially hard for older GPs to work more

3. GP partnerships are no longer attractive- less lucrative and much riskier
4. Junior doctor training reform- max 40th with 25% teaching means new GPS are not equipped for the job
5. Reduce resilience of younger GPs- see 4.

@TimandraHarknes Absolutely agree. We should keep discrimination to a minimum and only when physical attributes lead to unfair advantages. Freestyle swimming is an obvious example where sex discrimination makes sense.
