@daddyhope Can we also acknowledge that in a modern society built on individualism, personal reward and the attention seeking economy, that such behaviour comes from such a place? Society is the source of such behaviours!
@Lerumo666 March n March is not mandated to ask people their IDS. Law enforcement is. You people justify nonsense. You will realise that civil liberties are being violated in the name of anti immigrant sentiment. They will come for you one day
@DrMutambudzi You are pontificating and deflecting! Address her arguments that she got qualified and never got a job! Address her argument that Zim is not offering opportunities to our graduates no matter how patriotic you are. Take responsibility that your party and gvt is failing
The Longest Goodbye🇿🇼💔🤦🏽
🔶The dust of Harare defined my life for 24 years. My father, a war veteran, served tirelessly in the army until a heart attack killed him on duty in 2019. He sacrificed everything for my education. In 2020, I graduated as a chemical engineer from NUST. For my father, this was triumph. For me, it was the beginning of a bitter struggle.
🔸Armed with a prestigious degree, I confronted Zimbabwe’s graveyard of ambition. Applications were met with rejection or insulting offers of "exposure." My father's liberation hero status meant nothing without political connections. My friends, the "blow-out" generation fled to Germany, Canada and Australia, leaving me behind, suffocating under my father’s sacrifice and the country's betrayal.
🔸My breaking point came in 2022 after another rejection. My father had planted a tree upon returning from war; it stood strong, but the nation crumbled. That night, I applied for a U.S. visa. To my shock, it was approved.
🔸Landing at JFK, the clean, crisp air felt like a blank canvas. I began as a rideshare driver, navigating Manhattan and feeling a strange sense of possibility.
🔸Four years later, leaving is the best decision I ever made. My skills are finally valued. In 2024, I started my own chemical engineering consultancy. I have savings, health insurance, and freedom from a failing economy. The crushing political anxiety is gone; I can speak freely and plan a future.
🔸I found community among the Zimbabwean diaspora, laughing over sadza out of nostalgia. I even found love with an ambitious Ghanaian nurse, building a future without the desperate undertones of back home.
🔸I still miss Bulawayo and my mother, and I carry Zimbabwe in my heart. But I also carry the scars of its betrayals. My departure was not treason; it was self-preservation. My father didn't die so I could struggle forever; he died so I could have a chance. In the U.S., I didn't just find greener pastures. I finally found the sun. I traded a past of survival for a future of possibility.
One of the several interesting features of this App, it has a restaurant mode at no extra cost. Customer can place orders at the counter… from dining area, they can monitor their food order as it is accepted by kitchen staff, prepared, done and ready for collection, by simply mounting a screen or TV in the restaurant.
It is most ifeal for fast foods. Interestingly, it was built in such a manner even mamomz esadza re$1 can use it.
I wanted to release this App in March but kept getting delayed, 4 months it’s now ready to use.

On 5 May 2008, ZANU-PF youths, war veterans and "Green Bombers" from the Border Gezi National Youth Service camps moved from homestead to homestead across Chaona in Chiweshe, Mashonaland Central, forcing villagers to gather at Chaona Primary School as they hunted for the 80 people who had voted for the MDC in the 29 March 2008 elections.
Retired Major Cairo Mhandu, the newly elected ZANU-PF MP for Mazowe North, declared that Chaona would be punished and politically re-educated for rejecting ZANU-PF. Almost immediately, ZANU-PF youths seized villagers from the crowd and forced them to the ground.
Geoffrey Jemedze was among them. They beat him again and again with wooden poles and rifle butts before kicking and punching him as he lay defenceless. They battered him so brutally that he spent the next four days fighting for his life in Avenues Clinic, where his kidneys finally failed.
On 9 May 2008, he died.
The people of Chaona voted.
ZANU-PF answered with terror.
They murdered Geoffrey Jemedze.
Some years ago @edmnangagwa threatened me with a lawsuit when I wrote a story that he was insincere about leaving office in 2028. He said the story was a lie and should be retracted. I hope he apologizes to me.
On 1 March 1999, Lutheran World Federation worker Strover Mutonhori arrived at the Omadu Hotel in Kezi, Matabeleland South, after being called to attend a workshop despite being off duty.
Rumours had spread that he was having an affair with Tambudzani Mohadi, the wife of senior ZANU-PF politician Kembo Mohadi. Days earlier, Mohadi had invited him to a meeting at Harare’s Ambassador Hotel, but he declined.
As the workshop ended, delegates returned to their rooms. Although they had been allocated accommodation in pairs, he was placed alone.
The following morning, his bed had not been slept in. His suitcase, clothes, money and mobile phone were still in the room.
Only he was gone.
For almost six months, his family searched while CID detectives retraced his final movements, questioned witnesses and followed leads into South Africa until 17 August 1999, when his decomposed body was found at Whitewaters Range in Matopos, near Bulawayo.
The investigation appeared to be closing in on answers before the docket disappeared, evidence was tampered with and the investigation was smothered without a single conviction.
On 25 August 2002, Mohadi became Minister of Home Affairs, placing him in charge of the ministry responsible for the police as the investigation faded into silence.
Meanwhile, Ian Tatenda Mutonhori grew up without his father, in poverty and fear, while Mohadi rose through the ranks of ZANU-PF to become Vice President of Zimbabwe.
His family still awaits justice.
Power buried the truth with Strover Mutonhori.
Hakuna election inoendesa munhu ku state house mu Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, election is there to sanitise the status quo,I am sure we now agree… anyone telling you otherwise is a snake oil salesman!
