@DianeLakeside It's sunny here, Diane. Hope it stays like that. We're having a family lunch out with our two daughters and their husbands and one of the grandchildren. Celebrating my husband's 80th birthday.

Daughter and son in law coming to stay for weekend. Tomorrow along with our other daughter and son in-law we are celebrating OH's 80th birthday with lunch out.

@cm_bagot We're going to the Ribchester Arms in Ribchester. We've been before and liked it. It's not his birthday for a couple of weeks but this was the best date we could all get together. Although only one grandchild will be here. The rest are busy with work, A levels or Uni exams.

Listened to the heavy rain last night and hoped that it would fill up our allotment water butts

Our neighbours are having lots of work done. Yesterday there was brick dust and debris all over the side path of our house. Not an access path but it's where I store my cleaned plant pots. Also over the hosta bed which is the other side of their wall. I wasn't happy.😩

@Sandra55 @cm_bagot Is it eryngium? I've got some to plant, they were a mother's day present on a Sarah Raven voucher. Not sure where to plant them, it's wherever I can find a gap.

We spent a hot afternoon at the allotment yesterday. I prepared my little cut flower areas and planted sunflowers. Today I'll be in the garden getting patio tubs ready for planting. And having rests in the shade. 🌞🌞🌱
