@LucaBoechat since this is just a mock up environment I looked for the most simple way to go about it, I ended up just replacing static mesh from my variable structure based on what was pressed in which attachment category, and switched dynamic material instances based on newly selected mesh
I thought to myself how do I showcase my brand new 3D model with skins and attachments and stuff? so I decided to create a whole ass interactable loadout system in unreal engine
