The front page of tomorrow's @dailytarheel –
I shed many tears while typing up these heart-wrenching text messages sent and received by UNC students yesterday. Our campus was on lockdown for more than three hours.
Beyond proud of this cover and the team behind it.
@alexandraheal@ggarciaroberts There is a factual error in your story. Melissa Barthelemy is multiracial, not white, but you ID four victims as white.
LISK podcast S1E3 talks about her multiracial identity as one of the contributing factors to her getting into sex work.

@meghanor Thank You. I hopped in my car yesterday dispirited after another specialist appointment that confirmed nothing structural for them to fix … and you were on Fresh Air. I started your book today, and one chapter in and I hear my stories in your words.
@nhannahjones Whoops, didn’t know I was doing it wrong. When I went on my last first date, I went as just a bit more black than usual. I also didn’t know she was white until we met. Also didn’t know it was a date until the second date.
@dougwebberecon When I took my dog to be put to sleep last year, they gave him a full block of Cracker Barrel as a distraction. Sorry for your struggles.
Your company has a poor documentation culture. Things are slow because people don’t know how things works. Managers start micromanaging because work is slow. Leadership issues mandates. No one likes mandates, but that isn’t the problem. It was poor communication the whole time.
@ternarywat Also improve estimations by making things more real. Design, draft press releases, talking to customers. Estimates are often wrong because of the illusion of consensus and making adjustments to a concept that was previously assumed settled. The race is to learn fast.
