@luacrossing Definitely recommend buying Stardew Valley, if you want a game similar to that there's My Time At Portia which is also pretty good and has Animal Crossing vibes
@paperomo This is something I'd like to see too. I think they chose not to have an indicator to keep the menu design as simple, clean, and minimal as possible. I've noticed that my joycons do a hard rumble a few uses before my tool breaks though, so that may be their version of one.
unpopular opinion from a game developer: animal crossing new horizons is by far the best animal crossing game. i've seen so many threads talking about why they think the game is bad, and i'd like to give my opinion on the topic. (cont.)
@coatfoxes I agree that the writing is much more lackluster. The way they do it in this game is the dialogue starts to differentiate the more you talk to them throughout the day, but I do wish they stuck to how it was in the past games.
@HickoryCrossing You're right, that is a basic feature and I agree the game would greatly benefit from it. I think it was a design choice to keep the UI minimal and make it as straight forward as possible for everyone including people who don't normally play games, like children or elderly folk.
@HickoryCrossing Redd and Leif are content. Brewster and the museum shop have been datamined as well as the dream suite. That is all content. Regarding the fish and bugs, there's nothing wrong with logging in multiple times. The issue is people who complain but play 10 hours straight.
