She is the former Chief Executive of the Board of Deputies. Merron took a trip to Israel, six months into the Gaza genocide.

The trip was paid for by CedarsOak Ltd which has two directors. One is Stuart Polak, former head of the Conservative Friends of Israel.

The other director is Jonathan Mendelsohn, formerly head of Labour Friends of Israel.
