As an environmental psychologist, part of my role is helping communities process not just environmental grief, but the compounded grief of being failed by systems supposed to serve them. That means listening, validating, and advocating for transparency and accountability.

Honored to present at the British Environmental Psychology Society Conf (Sept 4, 2023) 🌍 Our study (n=761 Gen Z Filipinos) found that those most connected to nature & active in climate action also report higher climate anxiety. How do we support them while sustaining action?

Only 1 guidance counselor serves 14,000 PH students. With the Basic Ed Mental Health Law allowing psychologists in schools & raising counselor pay (SG13→SG16), we can act now to meet urgent needs & build lasting support for student well-being.

Ten years ago, I placed 8th in the 2015 Psychometrician Board Exam. But I never wanted to be defined by rankings. What mattered more: using that chance to teach, serve communities, and localize global standards. To students, your heart, not just your grades, will shape the field.
