Good evening.

Republicans gutted railroad safety rules. They cheered deregulation of the railroads. They passed giant tax cuts for the railroads.

It’s next level hutzpah for these guys to pretend otherwise.

Today, as Donald Trump travels to East Palestine as a show of complete political stuntery using a disaster site as a makeshift campaign rally, ask him one question: “Why did he end the railroad regulations?”

Never forget how we got here:

In 2018, the Association of American Railroads spent $4,737,989, and Norfolk Southern spent $1,025,330, lobbying to reverse the Obama-era ECP brake safety rule that was designed to prevent disasters like this.

The Trump administration reversed it.

Do you think any reporters will ask Trump about this when he visits East Palestine today?

The #Greenbelt is actually made up of number of sections, including Niagara Escarpment. It is the most biodiverse place in 🇨🇦 and designated a United Nations Biosphere Reserve. Today the organization in charge of the NE Biosphere Reserve told @fordnation hands off #Greenbelt

BREAKING: GOP Rep. Liz Cheney drops a bombshell, reveals that numerous House Republicans begged Donald Trump for pardons for their roles in trying to illegally overturn the election — proving they knew they committed crimes. RT IF YOU THINK EVERY SINGLE ONE SHOULD BE INDICTED!

Kavanaugh ruled AGAINST the six-day extension for Wisconsin to accept ballots postmarked by Election Day. He cited an article from legal scholar (and CNN contributor) Rick Pildes. But in that article, Pildes says states SHOULD extend postmark deadlines. https://t.co/Uupirxyrgm
