मार्टंड सूर्य मंदिर में, स्थानीय लोगों ने झूठ बोला और दावा किया कि मंदिर इस्लामी आक्रमणकारियों द्वारा नहीं, बल्कि "बिजली गिरने" से नष्ट हुआ था, और सच रिकॉर्ड करने पर उन्हें धमकाया।

उन्होंने एक बंद मंदिर में शिवलिंग भी पाया, जहां जलाभिषेक की अनुमति नहीं थी।

उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि "गोरखपुर" सुनते ही एक पुलिसकर्मी ने उन्हें परेशान किया और रिश्वत लेने के बाद ही उन्हें जाने दिया।
