@TheSecretAcct@jmcl_2015@rupertmiller@meaningfulmoney You still have to get advice from a FCA Pension Transfer Specialist for a transfer over £30k as a DB pension is safeguarded benefits.
The regulatory landscape has softened slightly with the introduction of consumer duty and ‘now that all the cowboys have gone’. 1/2
@TheSecretAcct@jmcl_2015@rupertmiller@meaningfulmoney 2/2
But there is still a high bar to transfer and it has to be deemed in your best interest to transfer.
If you had £31k the fees would outweigh the benefit. At 100k the fees may still outweigh the benefit …
There is an argument that the £30k limit should be increased.
Anthony Taylor disasterclass in that first-half. Yates not even on a booking despite two really poor challenges. Unsure how that Elanga foul on Willock hasn't been reviewed... #NUFC
@Paul49575522@carmichilli@MartinSLewis And if it pushes overall estate above £2m, then people start to lose the RNRB...
Certainly gets more complicated!
@carmichilli@MartinSLewis We certainly need to understand the detail.
You could argue that on first death any pension being passed to the children is being 'inherited', and would therefore be taxed, in the same way a gift to the children would be through the Will...
Certainly plenty of work for advisers!
@Boxing_UK_ Should have been a knock down ✅
Taylor tried to hold and spoil a lot ✅
Taylor looked much better than the first fight and Cameron struggled to show dominance throughout the fight.
Trilogy needs to happen ...
@BenCrellin@The_SAKAning If Havertz had got the red card then Bruno would not have hit out. The referee lost control of the match at that point.
Both should have been red cards but in my opinion, if the first one is correctly given - the tension in the match doesn't develop in the same way!
