Without it there is no leverage for SL to make accelerated change. They might get there organically but that could take decades.

Hierarchy in UK has had at least 7 goes at getting the broadcast deal right and have failed due to RL ranking in UK behind football, RU etc

@Pleyndamour @johnnyddavidson @TheiPaperSport 1% growth per year isn’t healthy. It doesn’t reflect movement for a major sport that has global reach. The NRL salary cap was in the low $2m back then. Now it’s $12-$13m. That reflects movement, don’t you think.
