"and you can do the rest of the combinations on your own"

I am feeling that drafting legal documents (ok reading on my case) has a lot in common with programming.
Like define "term", and then call "term" elsewhere.
In programming however "keep things simple" is a basic principle, not sure about the legal documents though.
