Our newest addition Ymir! He is a 6wk old Shepsky rescue.
The pack accepted him right away. He fit right in. Scylla LOVES him but sadly he's still too small to play like she likes to...so he's gotten stepped on a couple times🫣
He's still learning the routine structure at home
Happy Christmas from Scylla, Elric and Awilix.
Gambit missed out on Santa photos since he's had pneumonia but he's doing okay!
And Scylla didn't get a Santa picture because she growled and showed teeth 😅 Sassy brat.
Dog training is very political and very competitive. Trainers will talk shit about other trainers simply bc they are jealous or trying to steal clients. Some trainers think their way is the only way... It's really irritating.
I'm dealing w/ stupid drama bc clients like me.🙄
Elric came to work with me for the first time. Him being an aggressive dog, it took a lot of work to get him to this point. I'm so proud of him because he did SO well. He didn't react once and even took a picture with Santa!
@AndrewWester My vet actually thanked me this morning for muzzling her. And they know her and know she's never tried to bite anyone...but they know she's super nervous so it's safer for everyone.
She got her flu shot this morning.
Scylla is currently being muzzle trained. She's a good girl but she is VERY selective about dogs & people.
While shes never attempted to bite anyone, when u have anxious dogs, it's always a good thing to do for "just in case" moments. It's what responsible dog owners should do.
@idontgrokyou It actually doesn't if you train it properly. It can actually calm the dig! Scylla for example is actually less anxious with it on.
Can it for some dogs? Sure! But always make sure you introduce it properly to avoid those issues.
