These terms were incredibly degrading, some more than others, obviously. And some still associate “transsexual” with that era. I’m showing how terms evolve and change.

Many people who are transgender cannot relate to this, and the increasingly inclusive nature of “transgender”, to some, is too broad to meaningfully categorize them.

I personally don’t, and it takes some level of intimate knowledge to seek certain perspectives. I don’t mind typing something out to a stranger

@Yes26898990 @ConsoleWonders @osu_MeovvCAT I am aware of why his shadow does not like women. That does’t change this. His shadow is a reflection of those insecurities. Is shadow is GAY and isn’t interested in women (for the reasons you mentioned). To say “no, it’s bi or x x x” is conflating Kanji and his shadow.

@turningmystile Though some exceptions try to use it neutrally, “Dude” as a noun itself is still decidedly gendered as masculine like saying “that dude over there”.
But as a vocative, “hey, dude”, that’s almost always gender neutral and is used as such (at least in California)
