@latimeralder Just to make sure I understand the point... You mean there's no issue in releasing huge amounts of CO2 to the atmosphere and transform the planet in a greenhouse? 😂😂
@EricLDaugh Can someone explain how it is possible to increase production by 36% in a quarter? I mean, all the factories started working double shifts? How could the supply chain adapt in just a quarter?
@JohnStrandUSA The US is the 6th country in the world with higher number of gun homicides per capita.
It is 13 times higher that Greece, who has the largest rate in EU.
It looks like it would be good to change something...
@Showit21@dkimball914@karlmehta VAT cannot be reclaimed. VA stands for "value added". So, if you have a bakery, you can deduct the VAT you paid for flour and energy to the VAT you collected on the bread you sold... So, you pay to the state only the tax corresponding to the value added to the product.
@dkimball914@karlmehta EU made goods pay as much VAT as imported goods. VAT is non-discriminatory.
Also, Europe is not paying 15% on their exports. US is paying 15% on their imports.
@JosephFordCotto I never actually understood why there are only two parties in the US, while most of the other democracies are multipartisan.
Is it something that contributes for the polarization in the US society?
@goldstandard555@gtconway3d My two cents... Having a negative opinion about measures this administration is pursuing is not speaking negatively about the country. This administration campaigned for freedom os speech all along.
The comparison with China sounds like you're speaking negatively about the US 😉
@jakescottMD@FoxNews Somehow we live in a day and age where scientific knowledge is discarded and replaced by incompetent opinions. Scientific facts are facts! Thanks for reminding us all
@dawnmariefree@Patri0tContr0l OK, let's proceed on that argument. What would be the benefit for you, or your country, if the prices of bananas would double (100% tariff)?
