Does anyone else struggle with this? What do you do to get your mind out of big picture and just focus on getting started?

Been struggling recently with how to balance big over-arching vision/strategy for a project vs just starting with baby steps then building from there.

I’m the sort who leans towards big picture, often to the detriment of just getting started and iterating afterwards.

“Don’t let perfect get in the way of good”. Just do your best, but prioritise action. With action you can fix and holes. But without action, you are failing before you’ve even had a go.

@ludohunter Great article! Having a totally separate social media and music streaming ecosystem also represents a huge barrier. They can build a massive local audience, but if they want to do anything internationally, they have to build a whole new audience

@michaelhongo The tour she did soon after wasn’t too successful either. It’s a good example that even if you do well on a tv show, the fans you pick up are really fans of the show, not necessarily fans of the artist.
