Japanese designer #IsseyMiyake died this week at 84 in Tokyo. I knew Issey-san for 30 years, visited him twice in Tokyo & wrote about him for @nytimes, @washingtonpost, @newsweek, my books, & @wsjmag, for which this photograph was taken. Such a futurist. I’ll miss him greatly.
