Happy to share the final version of the article: "Modeling of a Capillary Microbioreactor for VOC Removal". Published in @Chem_Eng_J and co-authored with Kelsey Deaton and @marcdeshusses from @DukeEngineering. 50 days' of free access to read or download: https://t.co/pJZvlNzpWJ
@kaisen_lin @Susan_Masten I have a centrifuge that unless it is powered, you can’t open the lid. So check that power is on, or check if it has a blown fuse.
Why are most American breads loaded with sugar? Each slice of Dave’s bread has 5 g of added sugar. This amounts to 85 g per loaf, more than 10% of the weight and 20% of the calories. Arnold’s wheat has 3 g/slice. What’s in your bread?
Spoke about @PFAS today at the Georgia Environmental Conference. I made this slide to shed some light on a recent study that was all over the news last week, and why @374Water supercritical water oxidation is vastly superior.

@baym A bit late, but our recipe is less text, font size 28 or 32, bullet style text for talking points with clear take home messages, 3 columns format, large pictures, graphs and tables. And the 😫 the poster printer out of ink or paper...
Not unusual. As editor, I have to justify that the decision is not a vote. A single insightful, credible and well-justified review (for or against publication) can override the others... so maybe more a weighed average.
Impressive! Reminded me that once, we needed to determine the speed/territory covered by fly larvae burrowing in biofilms. I was very proud of my idea dipping larvae in E coli, letting it loose on a nutrient plate for 1 h and measure CFU surface a day later 😃
