@ChatGPTapp getting salty with @claudeai
"My recommendation
Use the short version if Claude has been behaving well. Use the long version if it has a habit of rewriting adjacent copy or “cleaning up” more than asked... this is a tiny hierarchy fix, not a redesign."
We’re saying goodbye to the Sora app. To everyone who created with Sora, shared it, and built community around it: thank you. What you made with Sora mattered, and we know this news is disappointing.
We’ll share more soon, including timelines for the app and API and details on preserving your work. – The Sora Team
Random thought: evidently there’s some clickbait controversy regarding @paapaessieduoff as Snape in the HBO Potterverse. If you have not seen him as Hamlet in the RSC production, you do not understand how fucking great this casting choice is.
@MinuteNerdNews Here’s a bit of nuance that may not have been captured. RealID already requires you to provide passport/birth certificate/SS and two proofs of address. These documents are verified with federal databases before issued. BUT standard RealID isn’t accepted to vote. 🤯

@RitchieTorres How many years and how much $ is it going to take for this plane to meet criteria for Air Force One? Will it even have the opportunity to serve its promised function before Trump leaves office?
To add to the NEA withdrawn grants conversation - it appears that there is also going to be a significant "voluntary" reduction in staff, including the (entire?) Dance division.
I just had two documents notarized/certified at 60 Centre Street. To pay by credit card, I was charged a 2.99% fee. The fee was $.18 on $6.
First they charged me for the notary. Then they charged me separately for the $.18.
I can’t be the only one who sees the problem here…
@AlexMacCello@NLebrecht This has been an issue for a long time – happens as a result of the automated copyright management. I know of one publishing agency that I think had to have made millions making copyright claims on the composition rights of public domain music.
