@GlassCityFC Why would he go to Pumas? Thats like 1/4 step up…and MLS teams play Mexican Teams quite regularly these days.

I really like Vite in our starting 11 as he has brilliant moments and can be a difference maker, but he’s still swingy and his performances are inconsistent.

@GlassCityFC @aftncanada Sturm is my team in Austria - they snatched the title from RB Salzburgs clutches last season.

Horvat is super solid, still young (25) and a Slovenian national team player. He has a knack for scoring big time goals, ie. Cup winning goal last season and brings CL experience.

@GlassCityFC Another one I won’t buy - and I have a lot of them - the triangle Pyjama one and the Bloodlines one are the only ones I had no desire for. Special events jersey are quite nice these days. But…if you have a hoop, needs to go all the way around or it just looks lazy and boring.

@GlassCityFC Whole team was pretty ‘meh’ and came out flat for a season opener - most exciting thing was Taka’s breakaway save.

Team is largely the same from last year and their system didn’t change, they should be a well-oiled machine from the get go.

@GlassCityFC @adrian_miral RWB - agreed, Raposo can’t be the only / number one choice. He’s decent, but doesn’t generate enough going forward / isn’t a thread for the other team to worry about,

We need another forward badly. In games where the other team had White in check we looked bad and can’t create anything.

I’m actually fine with the LA PK, naive defending from Blackmon. But if that’s a pen you need to give one on Laryea as well. Looked like ball was played, but it wasn’t…VAR?

@GlassCityFC I know Ahmed gives you more going forward in terms of taking players on 1-on-1 and penetrating runs…but we’d essentially give up the midfield. We need both Cubas and Schöpf to slow them down. If Buanga and Vela get service from their mids - this game is over at half.

@GlassCityFC With bouanga, zalatayan and gazdag around them, they’re in good company…white missed a lot early in the season…but he’s rounding into form now, he’ll be further up that list. Getting a duo / trio that has good chemistry is priceless. #whauld 😝
