@blockworks Do mainstream gamers REALLY care about owning their in-game assets? Or are we doing our best to shove blockchain in the most tech-savvy market? I mean, is owning virtual items that have no use outside the game they're from really the floodgate opener for mainstream blockchain?
I'd love to hear blockchain pro/cons from @profgalloway + @edels0n, excluding crypto-related investment assets (and NFT collectibles). Am I missing something? Is blockchain the web3's Netflix to web's Blockbuster? Or is it more like Blackberry/Quibi and should be laid to rest?
Thinking as the average user, why switch from a fully functional Amazon/Uber/TikTok universe to a tech with a cumbersome UX filled with gas fees and Metamask logins? Is the blockchain revolution more likely to occur behind the scenes?
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in the world (including me!)
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Here’s hoping everyone else can join in the celebrations - Paul
@JamesHGuitar@JamesHGuitar Here's another easter-egg (for true Beatles fans) >> Track: Don't Stop (around 2:48) // Easter-egg (or plain rip-off): Dig a Pony's (slightly changed) riff – not the intro one, though, the one after "...all I want is you...")
