Former editor/contributor to various (international) motorsport publications. Decided it was time for something else, so now just shouting from the sidelines.
A rather typical 24H Nürburgring / Nordschleife accident there for Thierry Vermeulen in the #45 REALIZE KONDO RACING with Rinaldi Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo26. #24hNBR
@MissJackx Totally agree. The mix of cars is what made some racing nice. I remember early 2000s in FIA SCC and LMS with races where an Audi R8 LMP raced a Dome S101, sharing the track with cars like Gillet Vertigo, TVR Tuscan and Volkswagen Golf GTI. You never knew what you’d see on track.
So after receiving a €300 fine for not choosing the fastest way to the safety zone after coming to a halt on track, Alexander Hardt has also been handed a €300 fine for the camera mounted on his helmet. How did he actually pass the mandatory e-learning? #24hNBR
@PenteanoO Glad the #23 natural elements by Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO and #32 Adrenalin Motorsport Team Mainhattan Wheels BMW M240i Racing Cup weren't involved. Would have required two separate posts for one accident I am afraid. 😁
Holy f*ck that was a scary one with the #146 Giti Tire Motorsport by WS Racing Porsche hitting the stationary #900 Black Falcon Team Zimmermann Porsche. #24hNBR
@GrosiakMateusz@GrosiakMateusz there was a typo in the official @24hNBR entry list for Duncan Huisman on the #19. Was shown as Huismann before - hence it's on your spotter guide with double N. Might want to change that if you put out another update.
Of course I can't miss out on an opportunity to add a Cadillac from Long Beach 2006. Also a bit different compared to 2026. From the SPEED World Challenge, the predecessor of GTWC America and in some ways IMSA's GTD. There are younger cars in historic racing nowadays... #AGPLB
Oh my...it's been 20 years since I visited Long Beach for the Grand Prix. The Meyer Shank Racing car leading the @IMSA@GPLongBeach right now isn't quite the same as the @MeyerShankRac prototypes that ran there in 2006😁 No @IMSARadio back then either I think... #IMSA#AGPLB
