🇦🇷👉🏻Messi quedó eliminado en cuartos de final del Mundial de 2010 tras ser goleado 4-0 por Alemania. No marcó un solo gol en toda la Copa del Mundo.

Aun así, le otorgaron el Balón de Oro del Mundial argumentando sus estadísticas en la liga española.

En 2023 cambiaron el criterio: dijeron que el Mundial debía pesar más que todo lo demás y, con ese argumento, le dieron el Balón de Oro por encima de la temporada extraordinaria de Haaland.

Ahora quieren repetir la historia. Con apenas 12 goles en la MLS, ya impulsan su candidatura argumentando que hizo un gran Mundial.

Los criterios cambian según convenga a Messi. Ahí están los casos de Lewandowski, Haaland, Van Dijk, Sneijder y Mbappé, como ejemplos de futbolistas que, se han visto afectados por la dictadura de Messi.

Bonus: En 2014 también recibió el Balón de Oro del Mundial pese a no marcar un solo gol en las fases de eliminación directa. Thomas Müller hizo 5 goles, incluido uno en semifinales, además de una asistencia. James Rodríguez terminó como máximo goleador con 6 tantos y, para muchísima gente, fue el mejor jugador del torneo.

Insisto: Messi es el futbolista más beneficiado de la historia. Y ese estigma lo cargará el resto de su vida, aunque a muchos les duela.

🚨🌎 𝗨𝗟𝗧����𝗠𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗔 La Federación Belga ha anunciado que está investigando todas las opciones potenciales para responder ante la decisión de la FIFA sobre la reversión de la tarjeta roja de Folarin Balogun.

La federación añade que la decisión de la FIFA contradice lo que dice el artículo 10.5 del Reglamento de Competición del Mundial 2026, que fija la “suspensión automática de un jugador tras una expulsión por roja directa o doble tarjeta amarilla”.
