We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Ron Hunt.
Hunt, a Met from 1963 through 1966, was the first player to start an All-Star game in franchise history. We send our condolences to his friends and family.
attention fellow travelers:
you're flying coach ... on @jetblue (no offense at all intended)
the duck-face selfies at the podium?
not the flex you think they are, as the kids say
🤦♂️
@Trafficmanmatt considering so many people apparently have no clue how to differentiate the daylight saving time?
probably best if we stick to "standard"
serious question: why are the 2 @espn#wimbledon announcers saying “noskova” different ways?
for the whole match?
it’s nos-KO-va, per the player’s own words
The Phillies are saddened to learn of the passing of Al Holland, who spent parts of three seasons with the club from 1983-85. As a dominant closer, Al was an integral part of the team’s winning the National League pennant in 1983 and was an All-Star in 1984. The club and fans are forever grateful for his contributions and the legacy he leaves behind in Philadelphia.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Al’s family, friends, and former teammates at this difficult time.
It was with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Kenny Klein.
Kenny and his wife Donna became part of our team and St. John’s family over the past two years. There aren’t enough words to describe what Kenny did for St. John’s and what he meant to us.
