We live in a capitalist world..and in the way you’re trying to spin it..Kap was the one who truly capitalized..respectfully. Kap wasn’t playing well..and he was clearly bothered when Gabbert became the starting QB. The whole kneeling controversy shifted the focus..and Kap rode that wave..presenting himself as an activist while..in my opinion..leading people who are genuinely struggling down the wrong path for selfish reasons..
I don’t believe Kap would have taken a knee if he had been the starting QB. If the Niners was on the way to the Super Bowl that year..the protest would be much easier to understand. But when I hear that he “lost his whole career” because of it, I think that’s a stretch. Every athlete has their day…

Oh yes one more thing…..
1/3 of people in the US weren’t born when the towers fell, it’s a story in a history book. as long as we’re here to tell the stories of the lives lost, and heroes who stepped up they will NEVER be forgotten.
that day America stood still, and then stood together. never forget.🇺🇸

Todd Beamer died a father, husband, and hero. This is bone chilling to the core.
Todd: Hello… Operator… listen to me. I can’t speak very loud. This is an emergency. I’m a passenger on a United flight to San Francisco. Our plane has been hijacked.
Lisa: I understand. Can they see you?
Todd: No. There are three that we know of. They have knives — razor knives, like box cutters. Someone announced from the cockpit there was a bomb. It sounded fake.
Lisa: Your name?Todd: Todd Beamer. United Flight 93.Todd: They killed one passenger in first class. They forced most of us back. Fourteen of us here. Five flight attendants. The guy with the bomb ordered us to sit on the floor.
Lisa: Are you okay?
Todd: We’re going down… wait. No. We’re leveling off. We changed directions. We’re flying east again.
Todd: A guy named Jeremy called his wife. She told him two planes hit the World Trade Center. Lisa, is that true?
Lisa: I have to tell you the truth. It’s very bad. Both towers are gone. A third plane hit the Pentagon. Our country is under attack. I’m afraid your plane may be part of their plan.
Todd: Oh God. Lisa, will you do something for me? Call my wife and my kids. Promise me you’ll call.
Lisa: I promise.
Todd: Our home number is… You have the same name as my wife. Lisa. We’ve been married ten years. She’s pregnant with our third child. Tell her I love her. I’ll always love her. We have two boys — David, he’s 3, and Andrew, he’s 1. Tell them their daddy loves them and he is so proud of them. The baby is due January 12th. I saw an ultrasound. We still don’t know if it’s a girl or a boy.
Lisa: I’ll tell them. I promise, Todd.(Lisa patches in the FBI.)
Agent: Todd, your plane is on a course for Washington. Best guess is the White House or the Capitol.
Todd: I understand. I’ll be back.
Todd: Everyone knows this isn’t a normal hijacking. We have decided we will not be pawns in their plot.
Lisa: What are you going to do?
Todd: Four of us are going to rush the one with the bomb. Then the cockpit. A stewardess is getting boiling water. We’ll take them out.
Todd: Would you pray with me?They pray the Lord’s Prayer. Then: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.
Todd: God help me. Jesus help me.Are you guys ready? Let’s Roll.
Thank you Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Thank to all our allies that have stood strong alongside the American military for 25 years in facing down this evil.
And thank you to former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair who came and physically stood with America that week. May more like him emerge.
Twenty-five years after 9/11, are we still the same America or are we more united?

HERO: Derrick Moore spent 20 years teaching elementary school outside Atlanta. The kids didn't call him "Mr. Moore."
They called him "Coach."
This summer he was standing on a beach in Myrtle Beach when a 10-year-old girl he'd never met got caught in a rip current.
Her name was Summer - and she was going under the waves.
Derrick didn't hesitate.
He swam out to a stranger's child and pushed her toward the other rescuers. He got her out. The same current that let her go took him instead.
His body washed ashore the next day.
He was 47.
He left behind four children of his own.
Think about that.
A man who spent his whole life keeping other people's kids safe in a classroom died keeping one more safe in the water - a girl he'd known for less than a minute.
Summer got to say seven words to his family: "Thank you, I really owe my life to you."
And his mother, who buried her son, said this: "My son is the type of person that would do it again. Even though we lost my son, I'm not mad at anybody."
That's who Derrick Moore was. Not a headline. Not a hashtag. A man who saw a child drowning and decided his own life was the acceptable price.
We spend so much energy arguing about who the good guys are.
Then a schoolteacher walks into the ocean for a stranger and answers the question without saying a word.
Remember his name.
Pray for his four kids.
This is what love looks like when it costs everything.
I just need to know how people go through life never losing their Apple earbuds/ never have them fall out of their ears, because while I’d love to have some, I can’t keep track of my $20 Amazon ones 😭😭
Any different than a bikini at the city pool or a bikini top cutting the lawn or washing the car!?!? It’s summer - how about everyone wearing a bikini bottom with whole ass out.
