“There is only one way to get anybody to do anything. And that is by making them want to do it.” —Dale Carnegie
And to make them want to do it, they often must come to the solution themselves.
All achieved through asking powerful questions.
@_alexbrogan Nice share, especially the quote!!
I’ll play devil’s advocate, why not.
Personally, I like to keep an offensive mindset working toward any goal. I get the merits here, but it feels too defensive for me.
So I would read it as simply “minimize critical mistakes” on the journey.
@FitFounder Universal principle to become better.
This applies to literally EVERYTHING.
Amazing how our behavior improves when our circle improves, isn’t it?
“Overnight Success” is basically a unicorn.
Most of those stories are people who have been building toward a goal every single day, one step at a time, over a very long period.
You just found out about it overnight.
Remember:
The work is silent.
The success is loud.
@FitFounder 100% agree. The way I’ve thought about it is…
“If the brain wants to find excuses, I’m not going to give it a chance!”
Almost like coming across a trip-wire:
You have 3 options… go over it, under it, or just cut the wire.
Good post @FitFounder
6) Use common sense if a company rule doesn’t:
– Make sense
– Contribute to progress
– Apply to your specific situation
Don't do things just because a rule says so.
The basic formula to get more leads is simple.
But almost everyone overcomplicates it.
There are only two steps:
1) Know your prospects like the back of your hand.
2) Design your business around being the answer to their biggest problem / question.
The rest is easy ✌️
