@chrislhayes Instead of covering that story, cover the fact that there's no longer support for Ukrainian phone numbers (and thus users who rely on them). Why is that?
@davidaxelrod Has it, tho? For Trump? What's the difference between when he was hanging out at Mar-a-Lago all day and now, when he's... hanging out... at Mar-a-Lago... all day?
When blue checks and personal data are required to use Twitter, Phony Stark will have a collection of people who are 1) interested in the garbage he's spewing, 2) willing to part with their money to support it, and 3) sharing their physical location. This seems bad.
If Twitter ends up forcing you to hand over your location and other data to continue using the platform, I'm done. This reporting by @ZoeSchiffer and @CaseyNewton is behind a paywall, but it's at least worth signing up for a free trial to read. https://t.co/3SiwLyC9Fs
In a better world, exploratory & explanatory journalism like this by โฆ@Heidi_Cudaโฉ would be on the frontpages, digital and paper, of a NY Times.
Unfortunately, the NY Times is a narrative engine with a heart of darkness, so read it here ๐ https://t.co/dohDkjEkYn
@elonmusk @omnihedge AAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You fucking loser. You have no idea what people actually think, because you surround yourself with sycophants.
"Technically..." you're a try-hard dork who can't handle the truth.
Say your name is Joe.
You believe your name is Joe because thatโs your name.
I insist your name is Jean because I believe I have the right to name you because of who I understand myself to be, and you do not have the right to name yourself because of who I understand you to be.
@Jason Why does he keep posting easily disproven lies?
e.g., (and among many others), CSAM being the "highest" priority, but then https://t.co/NTE2IlwrFP
This week, @MissingKids, the center that receives reports of online child exploitation, held a roundtable with leading tech platforms about combating this illegal imagery. For the first time in the eventโs decade-long history, Twitter reps didnโt attend.
Schenk: I was at the table and watched my colleagues nod uncomfortably but from that point on the community that I served made a deal with the devil and that deal was that we would support everything on the conservative agendaโฆ
