Schools will allow students with medical needs to use phones to monitor this.
Schools with phone bans already do this.
If we want kids to be work ready then the following would help them …
Turning up on time
Adhering to a code of conduct
Not arguing
Meeting deadlines
Being polite, kind and respectful
Wearing a uniform
Doing things they may not like
Doing things that are hard
Etc
@Doug_Lemov The polling step seems like a way of finding volunteers. Someone could opt out by not raising their hand.
The visible behaviour step and eliminates those that aren't thinking.
These are questioning techniques, but are they cold calling?
