Que increíbles palabras. Muchas gracias, @LloydCanfield. 🇲🇽⚽️🏴

CEBADOS X EL MUNDIAL | LUNES A VIERNES 13.30 hs con @rdfava
My timeline is full of english fans saying how much they loved to be in Mexico city during last weekend.
💖 I'm so glad they saw this side of mexico, we are so much moreeeee!
Since Sunday I’ve seen nothing but respect from Mexico fans - in the stadium, online, everywhere I’ve looked. Knocked out at home, at the Azteca, and the response has been pure dignity. What a football nation.
All the pre-match talk was about the altitude advantage. But that atmosphere is exactly why World Cups should go to real football countries more often - and it won’t be matched now they’re out.
Honestly: if England had lost that game, I’d have spent this week moaning about the officials and suspected home bias. Because we held on, I got to see exactly who Mexico are in defeat instead.
And it turns out we share a rival. If it all goes to plan on Saturday, we’ll try to beat them for you in the semis.
Gracias
Obviously, got all caught up with England's excellent effort, but I'll remember this World Cup for the way Mexico embraced and hosted it and the football they played. Fast, direct, with a chaotic joy the kind you could only find in Mexico.
The World Cup is a party but it REALLY felt like one you could enjoy with crazy passion when the games were played in Mexico.
The rest embraced it sure, but Mexico felt like the place to be.
¡Aplausos!
Watched this so many times. Credit to Anthony Gordon for just laughing too. Many would have ran to the ref or went mad. Instead, he laughed at it because it was funny.
Can’t even sum up what an incredible experience Mexico City has been. Genuinely sad to be leaving. I think it might be my favourite place I’ve ever been. Definitely the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Gracias y salud 🇲🇽🏴❤️
