How to run kDrive on openSUSE and Fedora: fixing the SELinux issue
kDrive AppImage works well on Linux, but SELinux can block it on some distributions. Here’s how to solve it.

GitLab’s ethical differentiation from Microsoft GitHub has narrowed considerably. Current true open-source Git hosting alternatives worth considering are #Gitea and #Forgejo (the choice of Fedora) 💪.
Besides, GitHub is much easier to use than GitLab .
GitLab, which makes software that helps developers on coding projects, said it is cutting jobs to free up money to spend on the market opportunity for artificial intelligence agents https://t.co/cU0x2Nxy4e
Big week in Linux: Ubuntu + Fedora dropping back to back.
Here comes the distro hopping and 200 “this is my new daily driver” YouTube videos 😄
I like Fedora (KDE) a lot but I trust Canonical more than IBM.
@infomaniak Bravo Infomaniak 👏
À l’heure où de nombreuses entreprises suisses (parfois même avec « Suisse » dans leur nom ou contrôlées par l’État) délocalisent pour des gains à court terme, votre engagement est exemplaire.
Beaucoup de respect pour votre démarche. 👏

World no. 2 Alexander Zverev said he has been suffering from type 1 diabetes since he was four years old and announced the launch of his Alexander Zverev Foundation to help kids and young people to deal with diabetes, providing insulin and other meds to help the needy.
👏
@RiccardoOdone For existing Dia companies: @diabeloop is very often looking for devs (France) and @ypsomed opened a new IT center in Spain to expand his Dev team.
@RiccardoOdone Currently 1 old smartphone collects from the sensor the BG data in RT and from AAPS carbs etc., it sends the info to a server for web apps used for monitoring. The same phone control the insulin pump (close loop), the pump can be managed remotely (sms, vnc etc) in case of need 😎
@RiccardoOdone I hope that the commercial medical products will offer the same soon. They are slowly coming. Unfortunately, as you noticed, they are still blocking the access to ‘our’ data that they collect.
@RiccardoOdone No direct experience, what I learnt from workshops is that if your product/sw is ‘medical’ (e.g. recommend a quantity of insulin) … you have high risks connected to regulations. If you have a ‘support’ product/sw (e.g. count carbs) no issue.
@RiccardoOdone I participated last year helping a team, we passed a couple of rounds. Great experience, you can participate without a project, see the submission of other people, maybe contribute to their projects if they need help. At DCB they are super cool and they try to help everybody
