@wilshipley @bob_burrough I understand the user experience of a phone restore from iCloud that will require a secure passcode (over the account password) is suboptimal. But apple should allow easy home backup (via appletv maybe) and/or allow advanced user to setup their encrypted key for backup on icloud.

@wilshipley @bob_burrough I understand apple is trying to balance security with easy of use but the lack of an secure icloud back and almost no alternative way to backup your device is not very good in terms of privacy. Your icloud backup has a complete copy of your (super secure) phone.

@wilshipley @bob_burrough No. Apple can read backups and give unencrypted backups to FBI. The only thing in iCloud apple could not read is the Keychain.
As consequence of that the setup is more complex and if you loose your key you will loose access to icloud keychain as well.

@drwave For "Persiane" I guess because they are coming from ancient Persia. While "gelosia" (jealousy) should come from the wives that where able to check their husbands street behaviour by using that part of the window without open the entire persiana (and without being noticed).
