Dear Boston,
I'd like to apologise for any confusion. After spending time with the Tartan Army, you may have been under the impression that visiting football fans mostly sing about their own team, enjoy a few drinks, make friends with the locals and leave with everyone's liver slightly damaged but spirits intact.
Our neighbours England have now arrived chanting about us. We appreciate this may seem odd when we're not even playing them. Most countries express their football culture by celebrating themselves. England appears to express theirs singing about Scotland. We don’t fully understand it either. It's a fascinating phenomenon.
P.S. Thanks for looking after the Tartan Army. They left you with good memories. What happens next is between you and God 😉
