@BoerBurgerB@Hans_Veentjer@henkvermeer Mooie vragen!
The Colorado River powers over 16 million families, 5 million acres of farmland, and $1.4T in economic activity.
In 2025, it’s collapsing at an ALARMING rate.
Since the government and media won't show you.
Here's the story of America’s deadliest ticking time bomb... 🧵
Industrial heat is climate+health blind spot.
Swapping 33,500 industrial boilers for heat pumps could
- Save $1.1T in public health costs
- Avoid 77,200 premature deaths (2030–2050)
- Prevent 33M asthma attacks, 13M lost school days, 3.4M lost work days
- Cut 1.6B t CO₂ by 2050
Electric flights are taking off!
The first electric test flights between the Norwegian 🇳🇴 cities of Stavanger and Bergen have started. It is a freight only carrier, but in few years Norway will start commercial passenger flights.
Norway is a particularly well suited test arena for electric flights. We have the highest penetration of electric vehicles anywhere. Norway probably also has the highest number of smaller regional and local airports on any country.
It will still take some time. But the batteries are becoming more powerful by the day. The future of regional flights is electric.

We are witnessing a very sad moment in American history.
The President of the United States is aligning himself with the dictator of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to undermine the independence of Ukraine and its democracy.
Here are my thoughts:

Where is the world's largest grid storage facility?
Not in the 🇺🇸 USA, not in 🇨🇳 China, it's in 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia.
The storage facility is located in Bisha and has a capacity of 2.5 GWh. Similar projects will follow. Saudi Arabia wants to generate 50 percent of its electricity from renewable energies in the coming years.
Why Saudi Arabia in particular? Because renewables are more efficient and you earn more money in the country than inefficient oil and gas.
The motto is not "Drill baby Drill" but "Sun baby Sun" and even Saudi Arabia has understood this.
