It’s one technicality that was open to interpretation. The admin, unpaid bills and downfall of Mel were all a consequence of that charge IMO.

@reluctantnicko I’m no fan of Mel, but the debts might have been cleared had it been sold as an established Championship club. The threat of a points deduction played out over a number of years forced the admin, EFL played their part in that.
